Public transportation in Amsterdam is one of the best in the world. Public transport is carried out by the GVB (Municipal Transport Company).

Amsterdam & Region Travel Ticket: With the Amsterdam & Region Travel Ticket, you can make unlimited use of all tram, bus and metro lines from GVB, Connexxion, AllGo, R-net and EBS (including night lines) and NS for 1, 2 or 3 days in Amsterdam and the region. The ticket is available at I amsterdam Visitor Centres, AKO newsagent at Schiphol plus Connexxion, EBS, GVB and NS ticket offices.
